Just wondering if anyone uses a dehumidifier. If so, what sort and approximate cost. Im thinking of someway of reducing condensation while we are camped in cold weather. Have tried leaving a window open but its soon going to be just too cold.

Hi, I use a 240v to 12v transformer to run my 12v lights, water pump, toilet, winegaurd etc. My question is, is this okay or should I use a step down fro m 24v to 12v. My coach has 4 X 175 panels (24v), 2 X 12v - 210 amp AGM's and 1000W inverter. The only 240v appliances we run are TV, microwave, domestic fridge...

Gday... Like most, I love travelling all over this country. So many of us love to get out of Victoria to head to the inviting northern climes. These couple of photos give an indication that there are some nice places in Victoria as well. Cheers - John -- Edited by rockylizard on Thursday 27th of March 201...

I want to have some music and local radio in our van and wonder what you folk out there did to solve this situation. I guess the simplest solution would be to get a car radio/cd unit fitted as this would be 12 volt. The other option is a small portable bedroom type stereo which would not take up much room, can...

Keep three cans of beer in the vehicle or van in a warm place ( not refrigerated) If a fire starts in the vehicle or van ,in an emergency get out a can of the beer and pull the ring- top just enough to let the foam squirt out. There is enough dioxide and foam in one of these cans to put out an average - sized f...

Brackets to suit ( looking at using sikaflex to mount (less holes means less chances of leaks) 3. wiring 6mm minimum from panels to controller, 8mm between batteries 4. 30amp Solar regulator 5. 2 x 10...
