Our winter escape under way

We are heading north after a minor issue with the van. whilst checking Brakes and bearings we discovered a problem with shackles on suspension so have now replace all 8 of them.

We have reached Moree after a stop at Dunnydoo which is a great little park and only $20 with power and water also very large sites, we are staying at Mehi River caravan park as the other one with multiple thermal spas has extremely small sites especially in the western area.

We are moving on to St George tomorrow and then Roma not sure how long we will stay in each place but we are heading for Longreach and Winton then through Nt isa and on to Litchfield park and Darwin

really looking forward to seeing some more of this fantastic country

We are at Gin Gin heading to Calliope then across to Winton, Boulia, Mt Isa, Kakadu. Should be in Darwin sometime round mid July
Gin Gin show grounds is very good for a showground.

We will be slowing down some from Moree onwards as we have not been up this way previously and would appreciate any advice on things worth seeing along the road. had a nasty experienced the other day in Mudgee where LPG was $1.26 per litre when I was used to paying .75 cpl at home here in Moree it ranges from $1.26 70 .97cpl and Coles offers another .04 CPL discount hard to explain the difference .

No worries JC you should still make it to Darwin first as there is a lot on country we have not seen between here and Darwin.
