Travelling is it a viable thing?
(Preview)
I began my journeys around and about Oz in 2011. There were any number of grey nomads around for company and I never felt alone. I was quite at ease going up to people and having a bit of a talk. I participated regularly with the online community on Grey Nomads. I had many acquaintances and some I will ne...

Hi all New to the forum but have been reading through all the posts and this looks like a great site. I'm in the still thinking about it stage but the plan would be to sell my house and just go travelling with my 2 wee dogs. I figure what's the point of keeping looking after a house and garden year in, year out a...

Hi all, I'm absolutely out of my depth here, but I have confidence and will to do this. My choice in partners has left me otherwise flat on my arse, and knowing I wont be able to purchase a home, I have come to the decision that at the age of 61 I could purchase a Motorhome and travel ( fur kid in tow ). What i...

I am new to caravaning. When I had my tow ball put on, I asked for an isolation switch to be added. (Who knows where that is, under bonnet I presume). I have since had two more solar panels put on the roof and thought I could run my fridge on 12V from the house battery when stationary. After paying thousands o...
