Just thought I might remind GN's with plenty of time on their hands that Perth and the SW is cold and can be wet as well in the winter months. In another month travelling slowly south through the wild flower season would be the...

SWMBO received this from the Tax Dept today in the mail. She is on a aged pension and has not worked for several years. Apparently according to them she owed $2 (two dollars) and should have lodged a return in the 2010/2011 tax year when still a pensioner. They claimed she owned shares in company perso...

Maybe I'm the only one, but the newer types of wall electrical outlets and the newer style of 3 pin plugs seem to be harder to insert and remove. They feel rough and seem to grab on removal....just a cheap feeling about it. Maybe it's the cheap and nasty electrical items we can only buy these days but it got...

Today is cold, wet and windy, as it is in most parts of the country I think. Sitting inside I happened to look out the window at exactly the right time. On the hills around me I seen a rainbow with different colours and shape from anything I have seen before. I grabbed the camera and managed to get some shots...
