It's a hard life but someone has to do it. Moved into this lovely house this morning & owners took off for a round the world trip of 6 weeks. Life will be so hard here = On Fridays a maid comes & cleans the house from top to bottom (6 hrs.) - One a week a guy comes & tends to the pool = And also once a w...

It's a long read - but highly amusing - I wish I thought of it!!! Below is an actual letter sent to a bank. The bank manager thought it amusing enough to have it published in the New York Times. Dear Sir: I am writing to thank you for bouncing my check with which I endeavored to pay my plumber last month. By my...

Hi, I'm about to hit the road full time at the end of January. Is there a compact printer that is suitable to keep in the van? Is there printers without scanning, copying function. If so does this make the printer smaller? Cheers Pete

Hi guys. I have an old pioneer audio system in my sprinter 2004 (radio CD DVD TV etc). Basically it crackels like *** especially when another vehicle passes. The static is really bad, even when switched off! Also the Cd is HOT- when it comes out. Hot enough to fry eggs on it! Everyone I see just wants to se...

This is just because I can. Yesterday was Seedlings naming day. So Miss Daisy and Seedling are forever branded. I love them both to bits, only as a mother can I guess. -- Edited by shekon on Friday 5th of December 2014 12:36:14 PM

I was just on facebook, and noticed that petrol had dropped to US $2 a gallon in Oklahoma city, US. A US gallon is 4 litres. I wonder when its going to drop to 50c a litre here?Notice the price of diesel, also. I won,t hold my breath..Bill -- Edited by bill12 on Thursday 4th of December 2014 01:13:18 PM

In March, 1999, a man living in Kandos (near Mudgee in NSW) received a bill for his as yet unused gas line stating that he owed $0.00. He ignored it and threw it away. I...
