Another Major Fire very near Perth

Once again there is another suspicious fire burning near to Perth,,,,,,,,

the fire would be about 12km North of our place, it's moving fast in a Northerly direction ( away from us )

Yep, the choppers are flying over our house at the moment, Ellenbrook and surrounds are on smoke and ember alert. However I think they are getting on top of it, well hopefully anyway

You keep a close watch on this fire Paul,

there could be a heap of trouble if this fire changes direction.

We were in the park not far from where it started.  Having the Xmas bash with our 4x4 club.  The park was packed with people doing what we were doing.   The fire crews asked everyone to Evacuate in an orderly manner, no problem there.   We packed up and left all in about 30 minutes.  It was slow getting out due to the numbers of cars on the Exit roads.   

Felt a bit sorry for our organisers as they had put a lot of effort into setting the Xmas Bash up.   Worse was we had lunch (just) but missed out on all those Desserts, Puddings, Cakes, and Pies.

I think we need a  "Dessert Party"
