We now own a 2018 MUX, on our first trip towing the van (Olympic 1800kgs) from Orange to the Southern Highlands (Feb 2018) had the transmission temp light come on twice when climbing hilly terrain. Some research indicated this is a common problem. So, purchased a cooler kit from Wholesale Automatics...

Does anyone have experience with using Chromecast on 12v tv when off grid? I would like to use the USB port for power, but my research seems to suggest that I would need a 'power usb' port. I think the tv usb port is 5v and the Chromecast is 5v - but is that enough to power the Chromecast?

It seems to me small generators are designed for people who rarely use them Over the years I've owned a number of 1kW or so gens all had issues sooner or later, ironically the best was probably the 750W, $99 two-stroke from Bunnings. Almost three years past I sold my house in Melbourne bought a posh carav...

Two Paddies were working for the city public works department. One would dig a hole and the other would follow behind him and fill the hole in. I was sitting here in my current camp thinking. Yep, that was that noise you heard. Because I usually travel more slowly than most motorists, in the car and van by choice, and in the Roadtrain simply because it's hard to maintain 100km/hr with 130 ton on board, I regularly am overtaken by other vehicles. In days gone by we were taught to hold the steering wheel with both hands, in the "1...
