Sitting here reading about Beth and her health and then there's Gary and haven't heard how he is recently and to top it off I took an Ambulance ride to hospital last Thursday with a Heart Attack and ended up with a stint in one artery and the other arteries don't look too good either, but I am alive so I have h...

I have a Toyota Coaster bus which gets brutally cold and damp during Winter. I was thinking about putting a curtain partition in the sleeping area and putting a 100 liter water container under the bed. Depending on how it needs tweaking I will put insulation on the tank. The idea is to use an externally m...

I returned my 7in Samsun with docket for a refund from Big W today, it was purchased just before Christmas. The back of the tablet and the power point connection started to get really hot when charging, hot enough to make me think it could cause a fire, then it started to take a very long time to ch...

Yesterday I was at my local Woolworths buying a large bag of Purina Dog Chow for my loyal pet, Jake, the Wonder Dog, and was in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think...I had an elephant? So because I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no...

Hi all, Does anyone know where I can purchase a 12 volt Cake mixer/beater. The one with the two beaters that is used for beating cake mixes. For obvious reasons don't want a 240 v unit. Have tried searching, eBay, 12vshop, Whitworths and Google with no luck. Thanks to all in advance.

We've got friends staying with us from out near Hungerford in the far southwest of Queensland. They commented to me that it's not unusual now to see grey nomads either driving 4WD rigs or mobile homes at night, sometimes up till 3am. Our friend and their neighbours pulled a few up initially thinking...

We have a Jayco Silverline we purchased new 12 months ago and water from the taps has a plastic/chemical taint to it obviously coming from the plastic plumbing pipes. Does anyone know how to get rid of the taint? The water filter gets rid of it but that's a slow way of filling a kettle.
