A fair bit of roadwork on the Newell Hwy, mainly just before Coonabarabran, where you can get held up for 5 to 10 minutes and then about 20 klms out of Moree where we spent 15 minutes in a major line waiting to get through. Otherwise the road is pretty good.

Some of the larger motorhomes require a light rigid license. I am interested to hear from those that have one just how difficult and expensive it is to obtain one of these. I presume there is a driving test; can it be done using the motorhome?
