There are some good showgrounds around Brisbane as well - cheaper than caravan parks, one of our favourites is North Pine Showgrounds (Lawnton), north of the city, but on a trainline, good shopping nearby, the only thing missing is a Laundromat, there is one about 2k away down Fletcher Road. Ipswich also have camping at their showground, and Beenleigh as well. Samford, and Dayboro offer camping too. Enjoy B ris bane.

There is a reasonable priced Mobile park at Thorneside, southeast Brisbane which can cater for up to about 8-10 vans - Mond St Thorneside.
