Towing a 12FT VISCOUNT van,With a commodore ute..

Fellow NADS,,,A quick question please.....So the difference  between the cabin of the ute,, To the front of the van,,

Is about 10feet,,,Really to much space for that airflow stuff,,it was a thought..

Is that what you guys are telling me,,or ??

Thanking you ALL.

Towed my current van with a Falcon Ute. Then towed same van, same ute but with a canopy. If anything, the airflow over the canopy caused more drag that without the canopy. Will never know now as I sold the ute last week. About to head off with a new Ranger Crew Cab, no canopy, but same van.

Good choice Spiderman, you will love the Rangers and judging by the fuel consumption figures I see for some other tugs love the fuel consumption too.

Philbe - I'd imagine any difference canopy/no canopy would pale to insignificance compared to the wind drag of the caravan.
Good Luck.
ps...don't be shy to ask questions which is what the forum is about.
