Update on constant tripping of RCD

Here we are at free camp and the sun is shining and the birds are chirping etc. My question is that my drifter control panel shows me a constant charge/discharge of the 2 110AH AGMs. I suspect the control panel is cycling the batts, however I thought that only happened when connected to 240V! Is this norm...
