We arrive 5th May early from Tas. We have decided to go to Lakes Entrance Victoria caravan park. Is it easy to tow a 14ft caravan avoiding tolls. Will our Navman be kind. We have been told that it's hard getting out. Any tips for a less stressful get out of the city. We hoped RACT still did a navigation car to...

After reading Hako's post on must haves & the responses has made us think. Originally we were going to put in a 170l fridge/freezer consisting of a 60l freezer & 110l fridge, the reason for this was so we could carry all this frozen meat/food & supplies for an extended period of time. We ar...

Some advice please. The pros and cons of battery packs +solar versus generator. Van has its own solar, so portable panels for the battery pack.

My wife and are doing our first big trip this winter from SA to Far North Queensland and the NT. We will be sticking to main roads and not travelling at dawn or dusk, do you believe a bull bar is a necessity or just a nice to have option, or will a nudge bar suffice? We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Lost 95% vision in my left eye on the 11th of feb. The reason I decided to put it in the general topic is to get more views. I have had specialist eye checks for a number of years and this was unforseen. I have had a major bleed in the main blood supply for the eye, there is no visual evidence off it until looking...

Hi, Just wondering if anyone had been on the gatton-Clifton road recently, if so what is the condition. Have heard it's an easier drive to get to the New England hwy than going over the gap or up the toowoomba range, any feedback most welcome. Cheers whitey2.
