Since sometime on the 12th November 2021 till this morning 19th November 2021 at 7am EST we have not been able to enjoy our daily dose of Greynomad's Forum. My morning routine has gone out the window as I walk past the computer to check to see if the glitche has been sorted. A few emails were sent to remind t...

Hello everyone, I'm closing my list of tyres that I'm going to fit to our D-Max in the next couple of weeks. Has anyone had dealings with the Kumho Venture AT51? My short list at the moment is the Bridgestone Dueler 697LT (a respected tyre as I had three sets of them on our last GU Patrol), the Kumho, & t...

On the weekend my 16 year old nephew stayed overnight at our home. During discussions over dinner my nephew asked me if it was true that next year at school the boys and girls would be sharing the same facilities which included showering together. I said it looks that way son. My wife who was listening in...

Paddy bought a donkey from a farmer for £100. The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day. The next day he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but I have some bad news. The donkey's died.' Paddy replied, 'Well then just give me my money back.' The farmer said, 'Can't do that. I've already spent it.' Pad...

I notice when looking around caravan parks that about half the caravans have the stabiliser legs vertical and half have them on an angle. We always put them on an angle because; a) back in the 1980's our family caravan had wind down legs which slowly rotated to make an angle with the ground, and b) the dea...

Merriwa Caravan Park Hunter Valley Just rang them to inquire about a long term un-powered site and was told NO. Hopefully it will be similar to "Go woke Go Broke!"

Ok...so I am quite new to this & have been through the caravan/motorhome quandary. There is a huge amount of info on what to consider when one is buying but on board toilets are rarely mentioned . Perhaps not surprisingly at caravan & motorhome shows, in sale yards & indeed private sales,...

Hi all, glad to be here! I think my wife and I are an oddity, as we're not looking for the full nomad lifestyle, but we're hitting the road to escape Victoria. We're hoping to find somewhere off-grid in far north NSW or further up into Queensland. We're organised and packing now, but are absolute vannin...

I've had a couple of weather stations previously but they have both lacked in some areas so we'll see how this one goes - I'll do a pr...

Hi Wondering if anyone has travelled this road lately. I know if it gets a lot of rain not to use it, but not sure about its normal dry weather condition. Cheers Kim
