Some highlights from our Coober Pedy visit.

This is a fantastic little spot. Showground on Ivory Creek Road has power, water & HOT showers (unpaid) for $100 week, think nightly rate about $16.50. Quiet spot in a lovely little town. Gun club every 3rd Sunday, but if you go to far side of ground, bugger-all noise. Woodford is nice too, 7 day...

Free stays on a grassy block behind the RSL which owns the land - not very big and no facilities but the club offers the use of showers and toilet.

Great little town with friendly locals, spoke to a council worker who assured me that RV's were welcome and could stay for free. In the middle of town on the left heading north, near the oval or on the right on the way out. There's a tap just past the oval on the left but not suitable for drinking.
