Would you recommend taking Jerry can for a trip around Australia? We've got a large VW LT35 which is pretty good on fuel, but not sure on taking a Jerry can as well. Any info welcome.

Can forum members in the know, advise as to how to get/start into house sitting? I have done it for friends so I know roughly what it entails. Does one register with a business that deals in this sort of thing? Regards Chris

Hot water outlet on the caravan literally blew off yesterday. Found a plumber and a new fitting. It was brass not plastic so was confident it would be strong enough . Fitted it and bingo had hot water again. But after a shower today the hot water outlet blew off again !! Is there a thermostat somewhere ?...

I am looking at a jayco heritage or stirling, as I thought that they had a reputation for quality, however I heard recently from a traveler that they are much the topic of conversation in parks, and for entirely the wrong reason??? Any comments Rod.

macka, you might be the person who knows the answer to this, if not some of the gurus may be able to assist. Do modern day caravans have a 12v DC isolation switch? My Jayco Discovery & a friend's StarCraft are the same as each other. There is a "DC" switch inside the vans - from what I can see, this switch...
