Goondiwindi Grey.

We have just visited the Goondiwindi Museum depicting the racing history of Gunsyn also known as the Goondiwindi Grey.

I remember the champion and his great efforts back in the 1970.

What a champion horse he was and the syndicate purchased himfor $1300, I think he won nearly 30 great races with a prize money of about $280,000.

Gosh!!!! what would that be worth if he was to win all those races in todays prize dollars.

I do not mention him when I talk about great champions, but I must now admit that he is now up there with the best.

Champion of Champions.

A great horse and a great jockey. I think Kevin Langby also became a racing steward on the central coast of NSW. I don't think any of the jockeys would be able to put anything over him.
