Has anyone using the camera mode in Wikicamps satellite finder actually seen the camera view when the satellite icon is displayed showing where in the sky it is? Voltage drop...
(Preview)
I have a Sphere roughly 20" led tv in the van. I measured the dc current draw today of 9 amps, because I thought that a voltage drop of between .5 and 1 volt was excessive. The AC current draw off the inverter was showing .39 amps. Thoughts?? Aussie Paul.

My 87 HB30 Diesel Coaster has suddenly developed an issue with loss of brake vacuum. Has any member experienced this problem. I assume that the brake booster diaphragm is at fault but understand that a faulty PCV valve can also be a cause. The Bus has brakes with the engine running and loses vacuum when...

Motorhome door lock jammed shut

Came home this afternoon and couldn't unlock the motorhome's door - mechanism appears to have jammed. The key will turn 180 degrees to where it would normally engage the slides, levers or whatever, but then won't budge. Didn't feel or hear anything abnormal when I locked it earlier. Door appears to b...

My question without notice (a political pun). How many panels could you fit on the roof of a standard 20' Van and can feed in portable panels into your little grid (my thinking on this is parking under a nice shady tree inhibits the sun) Use Solid Panels on rubber mounts or fixed mounts or are flexible pan...

Has anyone been able to update their GPS mapping systems in an on-board GPS. I believe that it is done through a special CD (or DVD) reader connected to the system, which I think I have found.
