Cleaning fly mesh on roof vents

Our van has the 2 x 4 seasons vents and two wind-up vents each with fly mesh under them. Given how far into the centre of the roof they are - particularly the 4 seasons ones, how do you clean off the red dust, leaves, bugs and other rubbish off them

Waeco won't work on 12 volt

We have a 5 year old waeco that will no longer work on 12 volt. It works very well on 240 but shows a red error light as soon as we switch it over. All the leads are good and 12 volt plug.
