Don't own but have used a friend's unit for some weeks as we drove the Canning Stock route. It was installed in his 4WD motorhome.
We used it for both calls and internet. Sometimes we were camped 100m from them.
Impeccable performance. Clear and fast while they streamed movies.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks Peter, that's the sort of info I'm after. Negative and positive. I'm very interested to read your bit about being 100mts away. I will be in situations where I would be around 60mts from aluminium tent needing internet.

The "aluminium tent" will be the most significant impediment.
We were both in fibreglass sandwich construction motorhomes. Very different when it comes to transmitting signals in and out.
There may be a simple way to overcome that, but I don't know what that is.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks again Peter. I did see that about texting myself but only available to some galaxy phones at this stage. I'm sure they are working on other flavors so hopefully not too far away. I think it's a great idea. Even though I am with Telstra, I find myself in 'dead' areas now and then, so to be able to at least send a text for help if needed is great.
Come on other providers, start making friends with musky boy.
As an update. I have Starlink flying through space heading in my direction as we speak.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there all.

Just a quick update. I have now set up my new Starlink and WOW! I have always used Telstra Wifi and very rarely had great signal strengths, including mobile phone, causing problems here and there. I bit the bullet and got Starlink. So far, all my readings are excellent and the dish that is actually rectangle not round has a clear view of the sky resulting in no obstacles.
As the aluminum tent is stationary and will be for some time (I still get around traveling but not with the tent in tow) I have the residential set up on 3mt pole.
You could say, I'm a happy camper. A happy little Vegemite even. Time will tell how it goes overtime I spose.
I still have the Cel Fi Go set up (that didn't make much difference to signals due to locations over the last couple of years) in the aluminum tent ready to just turn on if needed but now thinking I might set that up in the Collie.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
