Hi all I have Goodyear tyres fitted to my van. Tyre markings are LT 235/75 R15 110/107Q.. My question relates to speed rating, I believe the letter Q relates to the speed rating which is 160km /h. Could anybody confirm what the 110 / 107Q relates to.

What type of tyre and off what class of vehicle would this be? Aussie Paul.

Hi. Looking at a basic dual battery setup in a Trailblazer (Colorado 7), and believe I need some help. Last time I did this was in an old vehicle 10+ years ago, and I see a lot of "*Will not work on vehicles with smart alternators " now. I assume the current model trailblazer has a smart alternator? Can Hold...

all those wonderful cartoons that we watched as kids. All the Walt Disney characters, like Donald Duck and his nephews. Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Pluto. The Looney Tunes with Pepe La Phew. I know they were all hand drawn and painted, but what happened? Are they all under copyright, or is it they co...

After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a"gripe sheet," which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that groun...

So, we've decided to move into our place on the coast later this year (August, most likely). I finish my current contract at the end of March, and won't be renewing. In the mean time, we are busily packing our stuff, ready for it to be stored between ~April and August. For the time between April-August,...

I note from time to time some make enquiries with regard to fuel usage figures on the 200 series. I recently towed a 2 tonne boat from Adelaide to North Queensland approx 2850 klms. As a matter of interest I got 17.3 litres per 100 klms towing the boat up there and got 10.3 litres per 100 klms on the return tr...

Gday... Rather than have further 'off topic' conversations about catch cans drag the 'Towing with a Jeep" thread further astray, I thought I would ask my question in a fresh thread. Many people on this, and other forums, talk about how they have had their vehicle for many 1,000s of Km (some 300,000Km+...

An old man is walking in Hastings Street, Noosa, and passes a Hooker standing at her door. She gestures to him: " Grandpaps why don't we give it a try?" "No Girlie, that is no longer possible for me", he replies. Says the Hooker: "Come on, what have we got to lose, we can give it a try at least?" They undress a...
