we have hired a campervan for two weeks and planned to drive the Sydney to Brisbane route in July 2020. Would you recommend that we still do it post fires or should we rather head for Brisbane and spend more time to the north. Would appreciate any local info. Many thanks

Hi. I had Kombi campers, both fitted with those little Electrolux 2-way refrigerators (work on 12v or LP gas). I used gas when camping and they worked fine except in hot weather (say over 30 deg C) then they would struggle. Though they were silent when operating which was good since I am a light sleeper...

Not sure where to place this story, in my opinion, it is good that someone, who had a team buying up toilet rolls and hand sanitiser, to a tune of about $10,000, is now lumbered with themIt just may stop others doing the same thing in the future Copy and pasteAn Adelaide shopper has attempted to return th...

How to store the Satellite TV cable to stop it from getting kinked, and so it would lie flat on the ground when used. Solved this by using a 24" bicycle tire, some Velcro straps, and while it doesn't look good, it works. This may not suit your vehicle, but may sporn ideas.

Dometic skylight hatches can in windy conditions unhook the mechanism and blow open, and break. We found a simple fix to lock the opening lever in place using Velcro strips sewn together, held to the structure with a plastic tie. Simple and works. I can post more info if interested.
