What are the recommended output settings for around town say 60 kph. and for say highway settings at say 95 kph. In both cases towing with a 2.6 tonne loaded 4 door ute. and a 2 tonne loaded van. Sealed roads in both cases. My controller paperwork refers to Sync control and Output control but no other sp...

I remember when I was growing up that if I went on a trip or heard about someone's travels then it was described as a "journey". Now it seems that everything someone does in life has to be described as a "journey". We don't go on a diet anymore, we embark on a journey of weight loss. We don't get over a tragedy...

Morning all, Had the little fold up boat trailer booked in to get the Blue slip paper to go ahead and get registered for the first ever rego here in NSW. They told me before hand it takes 20 minutes with the paper work filled out. All good looks brand new. Yep never used. Brought it in 2007. 20 minutes later h...

A couple of weeks ago we travelled to Denmark, WA. I wave at anyone towing a van, camper trailer or anything that looks like a holiday load. I estimate at least 60 vehicles passed by that i waved to. I received two waves back. I checked the front of my car and could not see any of my footy team colours or stic...

To open the link you need to highlight it, copy it and paste it into the address line. Links inserted properly using the link tool still work OK for me. The problem only occurs on this forum, no...

Sadly, very sadly, my poor 2003 Jackaroo is finding the task of hauling my van more than it can easily handle and I think it will not be long before I am forced to replace it. I no longer have more than a passing interest in cars; providing it has AC and a comfortable driving seat that's all I want. I intend to...

Our Dometic aircon (2012) unit worked fine in December 2020, yesterday nothing, no orange led, horror stories on the net, 80kms to the nearest possible repairer. Now, yes I have some electronics knowledge, no I am not licensed, no I am not a aircon technician, I hope that covers all the naysayers. So I...

OK rather than hijacking another thread I thought I would start a license discussion. So if you buy a 4x4 and a caravan, any combination, you can hit the road without anything but a car license. But if you buy a motorhome/campervan and it's over 4.5t then you have to have a endorsed license. So where's...

This is a classic.
