If we take the Hume and then the Pacific from Melbourne to the gathering near Gympie, or the Newell from Melbourne to Gympie. Using the trip planner, the difference in km's is only 146km, not enough to worry about. So my question is:- What is the easiest or prefered route? Thanks Dusty
