I would need to make a note to write a list of the things to go on the list of things the list has on it to take. Mmm I had better put that on the list.

Hi, when we went we got a plastic sleeve folder and put in all our last bills - rego, insurance, rates, racq, etc. so we knew when they would next come due and car manual/papers, warranties on van, car,tv,microwave etc. have fun and just "go" rocket n strop

If you need regular medication, see if your Doctor will write a Reg 24 script. Then you can get the whole lot filled at once and you don't have to worry about finding chemists in remote places etc.
Assuming you will be saving photos on computer - an external hard drive for back up storage.
Telstra 3G mobile phone service.

I had lots of lists and one list seemed to lead to another....... and eventually got to the end(I think).
Fishing gear
Kindle or similar
IPOD
large external HDD to store movies as well as a backup for important docs
Camps 6
National list of GNs who offer cakes, breakfasts and prawn bbqs
UHF
Adequate internet provision and communication
Copies of important papers???
Cans of tyre repair stuff
Good tool kit (think someone else said that)
Good comfortable chair (still looking for the perfect one)

Don't get too carried away, you've got to fit in there as well somehow.

Try to do most business online eg banking, paying bills, auto regular payments.
Because I had so much going on medically in spite of the fact I believed there was nothing wrong with me, but the doctors kept finding stuff I made a list of medications to keep track, and to show each doctor in each new destination when I had to renew prescriptions.

Make Camps6 a priority purchase
Consider giving a Power of Attorney to someone you trust
Make of list of all your important information (bank accounts, insurance companies and policy nos and stuff like that) and leave copies with someone you trust
Something to do on wet days
If I think of more I'll let you know

I don't have anyone I can trust with that stuff, but I keep it in a safe place.

I am with you Granny.

If my kids found my bank details they would empty it in a day. (don it once, not again)

My kids are panting waiting for me to cark it so there will be something left. Not if I have my way HEHE.

Plan to leave nothing but bills and fade away into the distant.

My kids don't even know where I am at any time.

I have a friend who has my will and details and she knows what to do. Funny was my secretary and her family is now my family so she knows what I want etc so hopefully you have someone you can trust.

Regards
Brian

You're right Brian. How does that happen?
I've recorded things on hard drive and memory stick, but who knows.
I've never had much, so there won't be much to leave, but I have a list of my personal details recorded.
I've never thought about power of attorney. It's not that I'm immortal, I never thought I was important enough to worry about.
I'll be like that bloke found in the scrub out west of Ceduna. Park up and cark it.

Something else for your list........a variety of different size/type hose-to-tap attachments for your mains water hose, if you have one. The variety of tap types to be found in caravan parks is amazing.

Okay Elle, shall do.

I always have to have a list when I'm going away. You can bet your bottom dollar, if I don't, I forget something.

I'm making a list right now for Easter.
