Can anyone help me with advice on caravan parks in the Karratha area. We will be going there in a week of so, and there seems to be a shortage of caravan parks. I would welcome any suggestions in the area.

Just had coffee with Brandt and Lorraine (Kiwias) - who have come to Boonah for a few days - showed them around town - introduced them to a couple of locals and the local butchers - they loved the butcher shop. Couple of lovely people - hope they enjoy their time in our wonderful country.

Moved on to Herron Point, another Camps6 entry #262 and a good choice it is although the price of $10 with no pensioner discount was more than the National Parks rate. There are flushing toilets but no showers and the location is right on the estuary. I was told when I moved in that there was good TV recept...

Saw plenty of fish being caught too: Blackfish, Travelli and whiting to name some. Quieter than Jervis Bay beaches, but...
