I dealt with a donkey and a brahman bully calf, called Bonney and Clyde. Bonney was the donkey. What a pair! Inseperable.
When the adolescent bully calf worked out how to get over the station compound grid to the girls on the other side, Bonney would bray all day until we could get Clyde back into the compound.
When Bonney reached puberty she would declare her independence with a well-placed rear foot to the thigh. Jeez it hurt!
Clyde also had a relationship with the chook. He fought me over the chook feed. The only problem was it's hard to reason with a 300kg brahman bull with food on his mind.
Then Bonney would argue of the scrap bucket destined for the pigs.
What a pair.

Brings back sweet memories of another life...my daughters Burmese cat and a family of owls made my back yard a refuge, but not to that extent. How wonderful. Thanks for showing it.
