When my self and wife leave the van and go bush with the Oz tent,we use a make shift shower i made up from one of those pump up garden spray bottle, just add a thicker hose and bigger nozzle and fill it with water for a pressurized shower. 9 Lts is a good amount for a good shower. I have 2x 100ah deep cycle AGM batteries in the van with 4x 80 watt solar panels. Yesterday I decided to trial run our power supply as we are hoping to try free campnig. I connected our 90 litre FrigMate, which draws about 2.8 amps, and the solar regulator showed 'bulk charge' and 14 volts. This varied (14...

Gordon, i agree with a lot of what you wrote , but i think you are missing the point here regarding free camping. You mention to just move on if there is no free parking to the next town or area where there is , well i ask you where dose one go to when the free parking has all dissapeared from our great country.I...

ARAPROSDOKIANS...are figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected; frequently humorous. 1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it. 2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but it's still on my list. 3. Since light travels faster than sound, some peopl...

This may be a bit of a girl question but I have had varying opinions on the answer. When van is stored at home is it best to leave the top up or down? Does it make any difference and why. I can use mine with the top down so I don't bother putting it up unless I'm staying in it for a while. Thanks Tess

As my mums maiden name was Gibb, and I like the music, I suppose I had to.Great attraction, and a boon to tourism on the Redcliffe peninsula. I would recommend it to anyon...

As we're about to hit the road full time within a month, I thought we should find out the details on our local showground. Lovely spot, plenty of shade if wanted, quiet. Mudgee used to be popular till it succumbed to CP pressure but this one is far nicer and only 30km away. Gulgong is a great little tow...
