I am champing at the bit again. After house sitting for 5 weeks and currently staying with friends for a few days, I cannot wait to hit the road again. It is awful as I sit here catching up with friends and enjoying their hospitality, and all I can think of is, how many more sleeps before I leave. It sounds so...

Pulled in here this morning for 1 night. $25.00 for a powered site for 2 people. Park is well laid out, showers and toilets first class so is the laundry. I had lots of laundry to catch up on. Dump point also, although I didn't ask the charge if you are not staying at the CP. Highly recommended.

Railroad tracks. The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That's an exceedingly odd number. Why was that gauge used? Because that's the way they built them in England , and English expatriates designed the US railroads. Why did the English build them lik...

How, all. I have 2x110ah batteries in my caravan charged mostly by 3x150w Solar Panels flat on the roof. I also have a 20i Honda Generator if ever needed and occasionally hook upto 240v. Oh! and the car charges the van batteries as well when mobile. Batteries are always charged or being charged one way o...

A group of guys, all aged 40, discussed where they should meet for a reunion lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons Pub in Uxbridge because the waitresses had big breasts and wore mini-skirts. Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should me...

They did this mid last year but I never had a chance to test them, several weeks ago we did this and found they didn't fit. I take some of the blame for this as I didn't drop of a section o...
