Repairing the awning vinyl

When pulling up today noticed that the awning had been scraped somehow, and when opened saw that there was a couple of tears in the top layer, in several places.
Any suggestions on some simple repairs to prolong the life or seal the cuts would be appreciated. Was thinking of tape underside or outside...

Would anyone know the 12v DC current draw for a new Waeco CR-1110 model upright Fridge. Replacing the old 3-way and are considering buying one, need to know the current draw for solar reasons. Can't stand the thought of taking a generator along anymore.

WATER PROBLEM
