Put 2 new BFG tyres on the Navara in Longreach- one made in Japan the other USA - am interested in the long term comparison. Has anyone else experienced this and which tyre lasted longer. I'll back the Japanese. Have put 2 more on in Dubbo - both USA made.

I have 2 x 70 watt folding solar panels,only bring them out when we free camp. I have them running through a regulator and it states Solar in 6.5a Load 10a, a fellow techie told me this was not big enough. As this was on the rig when we bought it I have not bothered to check it out, is he correct.Thanks

Well I finally bought our new tow vehicle, 2004, Land Cruiser 100 series GXL. It's 4.2TD and an automatic. In the the Patrol I towed in 4th gear, never went into top and at around 80 to 90ks. In the automatic I have the choice, 2nd, 3rd, D4th. Do I leave it in drive or select a lower gear and leave it in that? C...
