We have just purchased a new van and had a Dometic diesel heater installed. Not sure if we are using it properly. Have set the temp at 20. Heater comes on and basically the fan is going all the time and doesnt stop meaning it doesn't get up to 20. What temp should I set it at, I presumed it would come on, heat a...

Hi all, I will be first to admit I know very little about solar. I am in the market for a portable solar setup around 200W. I want to parallel it onto the existing circuit. Firstly is there an array that is robust light and powerful enough for what I want? Secondly hooking up in parallel sounds like the way t...

Have a Dometic 3 way fridge in my Matilda M/H which works ok in gas or 240v but does not appear to work on 12v. The circuit for the fridge also contains something called a battery saver (orange light) not sure if this is having an effect on the fridge. There is a lot of comment about 12v using a lot of battery...

When the flush button is pressed water races around the top of the bowl, and apparently assisted by centrifugal force some of it escapes from the bowl. Although it is clean we end up with a wet floor. I don't remember this being a problem until recently and I can't see any way of adjusting the pressure, vo...

Do you use the radio if you have one mounted in the van, or do you just tune into a station on the digital TV? If I was to set out specs for a van to be made, is the radio worth the cost?

Are roof mounted air conditioners noisy, and are they noisier than domestic units mounted on the end of the van.
