Hi not sure if you have to enlarge the pipe but we found dropping the outlet down a bit lower under the van did the job

One of the problems is not having a continuous drop in your discharge hose. If the hose rises and falls along its route you tend to get air locks under some conditions.

As above longer down pipe before any bends. Make the water gravity work.. Check venting in tank ..

Hi K&J.

I had the same problem and overcome it by simplifying the plumbing and adding a bigger non return valve.

If you go to  search box  and type in Poor On-suite Shower Drainage you will see how I overcome the problem.

Hope this is of some help.

Cheers, John

Hi John

I like your solution. Where did you source your non-return valve?

Cheers

Erik

Hi Ausmo,

I purchases the non return valve at Trade Link - Shepparton for about $45 which was ten dollars cheaper than caravan dealer.

Cheers, John
