Upgrade for THE BRUCE highway ... should act now.
(Preview)
The following is an extract from the latest Grey Nomad newsletter. The Bruce Highway claims another unfortunate victim. This road is in need of an urgent upgrade. And the Government will never get a greater opportunity to fund the same. Interest is so low, they should be borrowing to the Max. This in t...

Stockman pod trailer
(Preview)
Although I'm happy with sleeping in the back of my x-trail. I'll never have room to upgrade from an esky to a fridge, plus I can't store extra things on a roof rack because I can't physically get things down. So I'm limited to where I can travel too without a proper spare ext. So I'm toying with the idea of b...

I know! I know! And I apologise in advance - which tow car should I buy?

Sadly, very sadly, my poor 2003 Jackaroo is finding the task of hauling my van more than it can easily handle and I think it will not be long before I am forced to replace it. I no longer have more than a passing interest in cars; providing it has AC and a comfortable driving seat that's all I want. I intend to...

Should you have a RV license to drive any R?

OK rather than hijacking another thread I thought I would start a license discussion. So if you buy a 4x4 and a caravan, any combination, you can hit the road without anything but a car license. But if you buy a motorhome/campervan and it's over 4.5t then you have to have a endorsed license. So where's...

I am having my over 75 years medical check-up today. Should have had it done last week. I expect to have a great result. Could, repeat could, be that I may need glass for driving. I already have prescription sunnies but of course, that does not work at night. Lot more happy days ahead. Jay&Dee
