Parachillna to Blinman SA. Only about 30 km, I'm wondering about the suitability of this road for travel in a motor home, i.e. creek crossings, corrugations etc. Our vehicle is a 4 ton Kea.

Change of scenery and a great road - go out to Cumborah and back. Sealed all the way and I think smoother than the main road! A bit further but a great free camp at Cumborah - leave the van and do the opal fields from there.

This road is great. Mostly flat, sealed all the way with lots of new seal. Very little traffic it seems. Shortcut to Nyngan instead of going via Bourke.

Dayboro then up Mount Mee yesterday. A steep winding slow road for about 6km out of Dayboro. Ok with the van - just dont try to hurry. Out into high lush farmland across the top then about 2.5 km of steep downhill before Woodford. Great drive but narrow. Would recommend south-north for the sake of your br...

Plan to leave Ipswich on August 16 to travel to Monto via Kingaroy, Gayndah, Mundubbera. Is this way ok?? Had sacked Monto from travel but reported new owners at van park there and getting okay review.

Currently in Sapphire and would like to go via Rubyvale, Capella, Dysart, 'Cosmos' I think it is a property on the Fitzroy Dev. Road and then north to Mindi on the Peak Downs Highway and then into Mackay. I would like to know if all of the roads are sealed.

Anybody done this road towing a caravan, I have a 20 ft caravan being towed behind a ford ranger ? I'm not a speed freak, i don't mind taking my time enjoying the scenery, going around october eventually getting to mallacoota to do some fishing in my kayak and resting up. Pomme.

Can anyone tell me what this road is like. It goes from Bowen through Collinsville to Belyando Crossing. The Camps 7 book shows the last bit, over 50 ks is not sealed. But books can be wrong sometimes. Has anyone travelled it lately.

A fair bit of roadwork on the Newell Hwy, mainly just before Coonabarabran, where you can get held up for 5 to 10 minutes and then about 20 klms out of Moree where we spent 15 minutes in a major line waiting to get through. Otherwise the road is pretty good.
