We are at older sons place in northern New Mexico at 8000. The temperature dropped to 9 F with 10 of snow. We put a 60 W lamp in front bay with the LFP battery suite and it kept the space above 40 F. Son ran an extension cord to fifth wheel after I whined about needing to probably run generator in morning since I...

Has anyone bought and used the BettaView towing mirrors from Ebay? I want to replace my Mazda BT50 mirrors with something like the Clearview towing mirrors but at $745 they're a bit expensive. The BettaView mirrors for my BT50 are $245, a bit of a difference! If you have bought/used the BettaView mir...

The brand new blonde waitress, not wanting to appear stupid, went to the kitchen and said to the cook, 'This guy out there just ordered...

I was wondering what to do about cutting down the amount of CD'S that I had to carry and the options that were available to me. Has anybody rigged up there van so as they can use local water in their shower etc? Instead of using the water in your tanks you conserve that water, which you know to be good quality for vital purposes like cooking, coffee and cleaning teeth etc. This way the water in our 80 lt tank can last us a number of we...

For those thinking about buying clear view mirrors for their tug, I suggest buying the black ones rather than the dressier chrome. Those that already have a chrome set put a strip of black tape along the top bar on each side. That will stop the sun from reflecting into your eyes like mine does! Murray
