We just checked the maps and at a rough estimate it would be around a thousand k's round trip off the Barkly/Flinders highway for either destination using sealed roads. A bit daunting to go to both places, which would you recommend???? and why? Comments please? Thanks!

Today we move on after spending 8 days at Greens Lake. We have met some wonderful people and have made some awesome friends. Even Josh has made a doggy friend in Lockie. We will miss everyone and hope to meet you all on the road somewhere in the future. cheers for now Deb, Paul and Josh

Well we have done it. Bought a house in Buderim, moved in and looks like we are grounded, for a few months anyway. If anyone lives in the area we would really like to meet you. Also happy for visitors to the area to pop in if they'd like a cuppa, or, and a chat.

Hi, opened my van today to get some things out and it was so hot inside. 35 degrees outside and with cover on van and all locked up felt heaps hotter in the van. All the windows are shut so no air movement at all. What do others do to reduce heat in stored van over summer? I don't have a shed or carport available...
