Hi, My husband & I are doing more & more free camping & was wondering what the general opinion is about how much Solar is needed & how big a battery is needed. We have minimal needs, only running a 50lt Waeco 24/12vlt & a Waeco Coolamatic fridge 135 lt. The problem is we mostly camp in...

Pauline and I were thrilled to see these great creatures leaping for some meat near Darwin, but on reflection, we total disagree with the practice. Not a good thing to train these killers to seek food around boats!! We're hearing of too many attacks these days. Cheers, Bob

We had a loose wire going into the regulator PLUS I was reading the little meter wrong. I thought it showed me what was going into the battery - NO it is what is coming out of the .!!!!!!!!!! Learnt a lot from a fellow caravanner. He sorted it and my thinking. Cheers all for input.

The Rotary Park camping site in Echuca is closed until Monday June 13 due to the annual Steam Rally to be held over the long weekend. Lots of vintage steam-powered exhibits will be on display - should be an impressive sight once they're all steamed up! They've already put an advisory on WikiCamps. If an...

Hi to all, Just had the rig over a public weigh bridge and found I'Ve exceeded the tow ball allowance. I've read that RACQ don't recommend you distribute weight to reduce ball weight. Other than jetisoning gear, what other options do I have? Surely adding rear box and transferring stuff from the fro...
