I know the reputation of the Toyota 6 cyl 4.2 engine but not have any idea how good it is the 4 cyl 4lt engine in the later models. is the 4 cyl reliable? Is as good as the 4.2? Inpu...

George and his wife Martha went to the state fair every year. Every year George would say, "Martha, I'd like to ride in that there airplane." And every year Martha would say, "I know George, but that airplane ride costs ten dollars, and ten dollars is ten dollars." One year George and Martha went to the...

i read johnr topic Spirit of Tasmania 2017. I am wondering why motoring groups, travel forums, tasmanian tourist industries, tasmanian gov't and mug punters and tasmanians have not been up in arms about the cost of travel on the spirit. Trucks only pay the cost of what they would have spent on fuel it...

I am hoping to tow an 18' pop-top to Lakes Entrance in Vic, going down thru Bega / Eden, NSW. My google search results suggest that much of the trip is through mountains. Can anyone offer comment on how mountainous it might be, and is it suitable for a comfortable drive towing a van. My tug is a 4.8 litre Pat...

Hi all. As I am slowly but surely turning into an old fart, nearly 68, I thought that I would fit struts to my A van pop top roof. This may be a stupid observation but what happens when the roof is down and the canvas folds in ? It looks as though it is too much to fit behind the struts. Am I stupid or what ????

Had a minor accident 8 months ago, and had to replace our Suburban hot water heater. This was done under warranty (thanks CIL), and replaced by a reputable repairer (A1 Caravans, Midland WA). Our water heater is not keeping up to water flow ie, just enough hot water for one fast shower. Then wait for the...
