My dilemma is, bbq or two burner gas cooktop with a frypan and griddle ? The 'boss' suggested the cooktop !!!! The thinking is that it would be more versatile. A...

Hello everyone, I am looking at upgrading from our camper to a poptop. Our camper has an aluminium frame & I find when a screw becomes loose (in a part that bears weight eg the slides at the ends of the beds, one has to use a larger diameter screw but this can only be done a couple of times. Yes, I know all...

Being a tight a..., I did not want to buy a crimper for swages for stainless cable. I found that two 2" nails and a vice did the job perfectly. Just put a nail either side of the swage and close the vice. The vice has the pressure required to make a good crimp. A torque amplifier (length of pipe) helps. This me...

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of the Aldi - Stirling Fridge Freezers - looks like a waeco. They were on sale a few weeks ago, but HWMBO wasn't too sure about them. Would love your feedback. I'm just trying to collect the things I might need for a van before I stop working.

After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realised I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back...
