Another great read. One of sons has recently moved from Perth to QLD to live. He is loving the warm climate, living in Buderim.

Buderim is a great place to live ..  Climate fantastic.

We lived there for a few years in Ballinger Cr.  Just across the road from the historic Ballinger House.  We had great views from the mouth of the Mooloolah River to Caloundra.  Left it to move to a beach front house opposite the Yacht Club. Arguably even better.

Thanks Ray & Doug, Yes the incident with the "wood grave" still makes us chucke.

Cupie, Ray, Love the sunshine coast, more so that the gold coast. As a past SEQ resident, I know where to go if I want to "beat the rush"  Today it was Sandstone Point, near Bribie.

Prior to moving to Perth in 1987 I lived and worked on the Gold Coast. Worked at Southport and lived at Biggera Waters. Great unit overlooking the water but hated the Gold Coast lifestyle. Enjoyed taking family back there for holidays but never live there again.

Just loved the Sunshine Coast so looking forward to a trip over there when my son has settled in.

Hi Lorraine & John,

Great to read of your continuing travelling exploits. Pity we can't find a firewood grave here as our winter stockpile has long gone & we need to start cutting up another truck load of logs for next winter.

David & Jackie.
