Dad n Dave took two stuffed dogs to an antiques road show, Ooh said the presenter this is a rare set , produced by the celebrated Johns Brothers taxidermists who operated out of London at the turn of the last century. Do you have any ideas what they would fetch if they were in good condition ? Stick...

Hello fellow Nomads! My first post is inspired by Pauline & Joe's newbie post and by this wild weather as I contemplate how much longer I can stay in bed before getting up for that word beginning with 'w' and ending with 'k' - you can see that I'm trying not to incur the wrath of the Chief here! As Paulin...

I have a Knaus Skywave Motor Home. I started with a pair of yellow ramps as sold by BCF etc but found I often had to hold the vehicle on the ramps with the handbrake, which then creaked and groaned as we moved about inside. Also using chocks on the ramps is a bit dangerous for my wife if she is not quick enough!...

Hi we are new to the forum. We are renovating our 1996 Compass poptop and need to either replace curtains or fit blinds. Bit confused about the best way to go and what sort of blinds would be best. Any suggestions appreciated

On our last trip with the van my wife made the comment that when I had been in the shower the digital TV signal had been breaking up, I didn't take a real lot of notice as I couldn't see the relevance between one and the other. The next night it was a major drama because she had a shower when I was watching the cr...

Hi :) Firstly I would like to introduce ourselves. I am Ian and my wife is Rebekah. We are new to the whole caravan scene but very excited to begin. Years ago we were always travelling and camping and kept it up with the kids while they were young. But as they got older it fell by the wayside. Now they have the...

I thought it was appropriate to also register and, although a relative newcomer to motor home travell...

I am replacing my older motor home soon, and debating the 4x4 option on a van. I presently drive an Isuzu Elf, which has all the things I need; 4x4 opt, [which have used in tricky smaller situations like mud after parking, steep gravelly track etc] it's under 5 metres, shower room, small front, which i...

Ireland 's worst air disaster occurred early this morning when a small two-seater Cessna plane crashed into a cemetery. Irish search and rescue workers have recovered 2826 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging continues into the night. !!!!! K.J.

I'm new to being a grey nomad. Just before Christmas we picked up a new 21 foot van which we tow with a Pajero Sport. We've gone from Rockhampton to Cairns and then doubled back heading south mostly along the coast on A1. We are currently in Bermagui about to head into Victoria and eventually Melbourne.

You may not have heard but I have recently had to have my left knee replaced. It was all a bit sudden but I was getting quite a bit of pain. The Specialist said it was arthritis caused by old Rugby injuries and prospecting. I am still on crutches, it is a lot better and I no longer have any stiffness. The Ho...
