I'm ordering a new JB Gator van and think that an air heater would be a nice idea to fit. JB tell us that gas is quieter than diesel, but we plan to spend time free camping and think that saving gas for cooking and HWS might be preferable and the tug is diesel. What can you tell me to help decide between gas and d...

Its p-ssing down outside, and I am wondering if anyone catches this water. We have come by the gutter brackets for the awning, but its a pain to set up, and I am loath to have the awning up during rough weather. However the van roof has quite a catchment area, and it tends to flow down at just two points, it co...

As per my recent thread in the "Technical" section of this website my six month old Honda EU20i generator recently developed a fault which caused it to run roughly and then cut out. Sometimes it would run for a couple of hours without issue and other times only a few minutes. A warranty investigation an...

I have installed a DC to DC charger however it doesn't seem to charge the auxiliary battery to its full capacity but is showing 13.2 volts. The charger is a voltage 30amp which is at the back of my tub charging directly to the battery in an ark pak (not through the ark pak 4amp charger). I have driven from Vi...

Do any of you RV'ers with built in grey water tanks have a level guage and do they work. The Jayco system of three probes reading to the tank guage soon gets grudded up and gives false readings, am thinking of installing a float switch instead of.

Gday all, Just a heads up for anyone driving in the Shark Bay Area. Diesel fuel yesterday (wed) in Denham was 8 cents per litre cheaper than at the Overland roadhouse out on the highway so if going into Denham or Monkey Mia it may be worth waiting till you get into town.
