I have a friend on facebook wanting a cheap caravan park in Cairns. I have suggested she join up here and asks but in case she doesn't I thought I would ask. She is wanting one with a cabin. Travelling on her own. I will pass on any I get here.

Anyone stay at camp at Kilcoy Q.L.Q was told about it by traveler who was at my work .. they stay there said it was $6.00 per night and was dog friendly ... will be heading up that way in few week so any feed back will be good

Old Calliope crossing is closed to traffic. You can still camp fr free on both sides of the river but you can,t drive across the concrete crossing- traffic barriers on both sides.This is a pity bacause I have been camping there for years. 	Old Calliope Crossing (Preview) Old Calliope crossing is closed to traffic.
