we recently stayed for a week beside the river water toilets dump point lots of kangaroos and wombats that scratch themselves under the van at night which was a bit scary the first night we where there heading there again in a couple of weeks also good fresh water fishing

CAW 6 #1093 Frogs Hollow. No amenities, but a lovely spot beside the lake. Townsfolk are a nice friendly bunch.

Great spot on the Barwon River. CAW6 #400, 6 kms east of Brewarrina, follow the blue signs from in town. Cold showers, toilets, picnic tables and BBQ's. Apparently good fishing for Yellow Belly and Cod.

Don`t forget this place when travelling the Bruxner Highway....is about about 40k west of Texas, power/water/amenities, free laundry, tennis courts at nominal cost plus super toilets and all for $10pn........Contact Caretaker Iris next door.

Run by Eurobodalla Council. Right on the beach. Between Tilba Tilba and Narooma. $11/night in Low Season for Pensioners. No power. Pit toilets. Cold shower outside toilets. Great spot.

Passsed this one on the way to Tenterfield - a few were camped there - CAW5 - #240 - short dirt road from the look of it - about 150m off the highway.

Stayed at the Kennel club which is next to the showgrounds @ $12 per night powered site and went for a drive to the river and found some nice spots looking over the river so spent the last 2 nights free camping There are no signs banning free camping and locals say it is used all the time C/p is not getting goo...

just stayed a couple of nights at may,s bend ,outside of bourke in nsw. great spot beside the darling river ,take the mitchell hwy towards cunnamulla ,may,s bend is signposted . pop into the tourist info centre for a mudmap and they will give you all the info you will need .

Gday... CAW 6 site 933 - 32 10 03 S 148 35 07 E. CAW6 shows it as having no limit. However, the Updates Service on CAW website shows it was curtailed to 72 hours only back in April 2012. Township of Bollon - turn into dirt road opposite fire station - heaps of room, beside creek - lovely walking track - old cemetary - toilets. 500m into town along walking track - hot showers, toilets, bins. Lovely and quiet. Some fish in the creek, abundant birdlife.

Does anyone have any good ideas for camping with our Jayco Eagle for the long weekend? Somewhere near water would be nice but without the masses. We have only bought our camper this year and are keen to find those "special" spots. Cheers!

Gday... CAW 6 NSW Site 1105 - This is a very open and pleasant campground - no fee for maximum of three night's stay. Amenities are good, with a cold shower (I did NOT make use of the shower during my stay ) There is plenty of room for all size vehicles. Mostly grassy with the most level and grassy sites tow...

Just wondering has anybody towed a van from Nowra to Braidwood up the Turpentine Rd, I know a lot of it has been upgraded and there is probably still some dirt, but I am inclined to think it could save pulling up The Clyde. Anybody with any advice out there ? .
