mays bend

Gday...

I called in there about this time in 2010 and the road/s in had been badly effected by wet weather - although dry when we went in. They were very rutted and a maze where people had decided to make their own new track. As a result, we decided to not take the van in.

How are the roads in now? It is a very good spot I must admit - especially if there are not too many there.

Photo from 2010 attached.

[edit: I am heading through Bourke probably next week after my awning is fixed here in Dubbo - I might camp there if the roads are OK]

Cheers - John

Yes, Mays Bend is a great spot.

We were there in July this year and found it nice and peacefull.

The only downside was that the only fish we caught were bloody carp.

Cheers,

Bluey
