Gum Bend Lake, Condobolin NSW (revisited)

Gday...

CAW6 site1098            33 04 41 S 147 06 00 E - 4km west of the township of Condobolin NSW

I once again treated myself to a few days at this camp. It continues to be an excellent place to spend a few days relaxing.

Attached are some new photos I took during this stay. The amenities are still excellent - hot showers, flushing toilet. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Cheers - John

Hi Rockylizard,

Thanks for posting your photos.  I have found them to be very interesting as we are heading that way in late June.  we have never stayed in Condobolin before so I will be putting this one on the "must stay" list.  Can you recall if it is a sealed road to get to the Lake please.

cheers,

Chicken.

Gday...

Yep ... Gum Bend Lake campground is only 4km west of Condoblin ... and it is a good sealed road all the way.

Cheers - John

Have just finished my 2nd visit to Gum Bend Lake. Spent 5 days this time. Not sure of the time limit but there are two couples been there about 3 months with no problems. The lovely couple who do the cleaning said this morning as I was preparing to go, " Oh you are not going already" So obviously they don't mind how long you stay.
Hot showers, clean drinking water taps around.
Dogs allowed, on a leash, but nobody keeping to the rules. Heaps of room for camping. Friendly town and people.
Only disadvantage is you can't see the water from the campsites, have to walk up on the bank. Not hard.

Hi All.

We have had a awesome 4 night at this most peaceful spot.

Towns services were very easy to get along with, bread from the bakery was good.

Water at the tap was very drinkable, around good spot.

Sunset so good different every night. Ralph20150409_175740.jpg
