Camps Australia Wide 6, #645. Ignore what it says in the book about paying at the info centre. It's about 2 years since that was the case. Go in and set yourself up wherever you like and ring the number on the wall of the amenities block. The man will give you a code for the doors, and will come by in the arvo to...

Warwick Qld. Harts Caravan Park closed down
(Preview)
Despite being in 2012 Qld caravan park guide and Caravan Park on the post at beginning of road, Harts CP has closed down. Leaves two CPs only in Warwick - there are no signs to say it is closed. Just 'No Entry - private property' - bit rude.

Stayed at the above CP last night on our way to Lighning Ridge. The park has just been taken over by a new owner and based on what we experienced is worth a stay. $24 gives you power, water and very good amenities. They have cleaned the place up big time from what I heard about the previous owners. It is a good...

At the northern end of the Flinders Ranges, next door to Leigh Creek. This park is friendly and obliging, clean and rustic. An unpowered site is $10, and a cabin is $110. I've used both. they also do a deal for take-away with the nearby Leigh Creek Hotel, as well as other offers. I don't know what they c...

Ballingup, WA

I'm thinking of heading down to Ballingup with the van in late August for the Medieval Carnival. Can anyone suggest a site as I'm sure the transit park in the town will be full. Camps 6 is not much help in this instance and the visitor's websites are worse than useless.
