Some beauties in North West Victoria

I recently stayed in Two lovely spots in NW Victoria.

Free camp in Hopetoun on Lake Laschelles. Drive to the lake then follow it around to your right till you get to theopposite side. Water, toilets, cold showers, no power, BBQ facilities and picnic tables. Watch the sunset over the lake. Beautiful.

Lake Cullulleraine near Mildura. Grassy powered and unpowered sites on the lake. Just pick your spot. $15 for one person and van on powered site. $5 I think for an extra person. Good facilities - pretty much everything you need. Drive in and manager comes round to collect money later in the afternoon. Sunrise over the lake. Great.

Can remember sailing and camping out at Lake Cullularain as a kid. Would set rabbit traps, and then have a feed of stewed rabbit for dinner. Yum. We have only stopped over as a lunch stop in recent years.
