Sarina Palms Caravan Park

We have recently stayed at this lovely little park.  It is very clean with nice amenities, grassed sites with slabs.  Cost is $28 per powered site (cash).  A lot of pride is taken in the upkeep and appearance.  There are animal figurines scattered around.  Happy hour is every evening, morning and afternoon is also at "The Meeting Place" where occasionaly a movie is also played on a large outside screen with everyone bringing their own chairs, much fun is had as many comments are made during the course of the evening.  There are no bouncing pillows, swimming pools or tennis courts just a nice simple clean park where residents make their own fun. I have attached a few pics of the park.

Hope you enjoy, Veronica

Have been told by a fellow traveller who has just stayed in Mackay that a recently renovated park there which has a starting price of $35 also now has electricity meters per site and will shortly be commencing with water meters as well this is an additional charge to the price per night  ouch getting rather pricey and over the top.  think we will stay in the smaller towns and take a day trip in as we did from Sarina.
