ice build up

Is it normal for a 12 v RV compressor fridge / freezer to form ice on the plate attached to inside ceiling of fridge compartment , fridge is 6 years old , have cleaned seals and seems to be sealing ok , just ice builds up quite quickly , and not opened or often or loaded with much food . thanx in advance .

My monitor shows a charge rate of .7 amps yet everything is off. The switch to loads is off also. The van is not connected to 230V. Why does it perpetually show .7 amps charge? Solar is only source of power. Constant voltage shows 13.4V.

We decided to use the CMS electrical system and as such have got the 15Amp inlet with RCD. when it comes to cutting the hole in the bus to fit this unit the shape is complex and I cant think of an easy way to make a hole template for it....
